Biochemica offers a host of eco-friendly, oxidising biocides under the EcoChem range which can be used on all water that requires disinfection. EcoChem Biocides are suitable for use in domestic water systems, as well as cooling water, process water and recycled water systems. They are environmentally-friendly and highly effective, ultimately broken down to water and oxygen with no nasty bi-products. EcoChem 1325 is an effective organic coagulant derived from totally renewable sources. It is an effective replacement for traditional inorganic coagulants, such as ferric sulphate, which is produced via a high energy requirement process. EcoChem 1325 offers cost savings with reduced sludge production (approximately 30%) versus metal salt coagulants, therefore reducing sludge disposal or dewatering costs. EcoChem 1325 is also suitable for use in drinking water applications.
